Bill Newland joins 360 Legal, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development. With over 35 years in the default servicing industry, Bill has been at the forefront of the mortgage default servicing industry through many changes. With his executive leadership and operational knowledge of mortgage servicing, attorney firms and vendor outsourcing; he will add another layer of expertise to better assist our clients in endeavors they will have within the mortgage industry. Bill will be responsible for our business development as he has done throughout his career and will bring the highest level of customer service to our clients. 

Throughout Bill’s career, he has held several executive roles within Mortgage Servicing; such as: Ocwen, American Home, Lender Processing Services (LPS), Mr Cooper, Bank of America and LoanCare. Bill also spent time as the EVP of business development for the law firm of Diaz, Anslemo & Associates, P.A and Publication Point, a post and publication company out of Illinois.  With Bill’s knowledge and expertise within Default Servicing; he will lead the charge and drive the success of our clients in endeavors within the mortgage industry. 

Bill Newland was born in Middletown, Ohio and moved quite a bit with his family during his school years before graduating from Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA in 1979. Bill then attended Valdosta State in Valdosta GA with a concentration in Finance. His wife Tonia, currently works for Black Knight and has two girls who are both married and a son and all reside in St Johns, Florida. Bill in his spare time assists with the March of Dimes and Relay for Life charities in North Florida and spent 15 years coaching his son’s teams in football and baseball and has now moved on to his granddaughter’s baseball team.

Mr. Newland's responsibility included operations management of serval departments, assisting client relations with solving issues. Collaborated with other departments surrounding operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and staff tailored to acclimate the objectives of the company.

Mr. Newland responsibility included operations, client relationships and business development in the law firm for default and real estate divisions. Collaborated with managing partners and management team to develop and launch plans for operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and staff tailored to acclimate the objectives of the firm.

2013 First Vice President of Operations

Mr. Newland was responsible for daily default operations in Minnesota and Florida locations overseeing 220 associates for foreclosure and bankruptcy departments.

2012 Senior Vice President

Oversaw various Post Sale default units while directing 1400+ employees across seven sites located in Arizona, California, Texas, and India.

NationsStar Mortgage

2011 Senior Vice President of Default Operations

Orchestrated daily operations for various units including, document execution, default support, time line management and property protection; mentored 465 employees within 5 functional units. Oversaw contract negotiations, performance reporting, internal auditing, selection process, and financial reviews for 150+ vendor affiliations.

LPS Default Solutions

2004 First Vice President of Operations

Directed daily operations of multiple default units for foreclosure and bankruptcy operations, including 450 employees across 6 functional units and total assets management in surplus of 550,000 defaulted mortgages. Oversaw management and performance of vendor network of 500+ vendor relationships.
