[00:00:00] Interviewer: All right, we’re sitting here talking with Bill Newland recently joined 360 Legal with a tremendous background that should make a huge difference, both to 360Legal’s clients and of the running of 360, and it’s quite a privilege to be able to talk to Bill today. Bill, how are you doing?
[00:00:16] Bill Newland: I’m doing fantastic.
[00:00:17] Thank you very much for asking, enjoying being here and enjoying being with 360Legal.
[00:00:21] Interviewer: If you were to put yourself in Mike’s shoes and for those who are new to our interviews, Mike is the CEO, what do you think motivated him to hire you?
[00:00:31] Bill Newland: Typically, when you’re interviewing somebody, you’re trying to find somebody that’s gonna fit the mold that you want to bring in to the company.
[00:00:37] Mike and I had a conversation over an individual that we both know, he told me, “Hey, reach out to Mike”.
[00:00:44] Mike actually reached out to me before I had a chance to reach out to him, which is very important because that meant that Mike was actually interested in me and interested in my background. My background is mostly in the mortgage servicing industry, although I do have some collection
[00:01:00] background, back when I used to work for a company called OSI in the mid-nineties. My background has been mostly with mortgage servicers and also managing law firms. Mike took a look at that background and said, “This might be the individual that we need to bring in”. Mike mentioned to me on the telephone “You seem to know a lot of people in this industry”.
