Writ of Replevin: The Replevin Process<\/h2>\n

This replevin process can be broken down into two stages:<\/p>\n

  1. The replevy, are the steps the owners take to secure the physical ownership of the property, by providing security for prosecuting the action and for the return of the items if the case does not go in his or her favor.<\/li>\n
  2. At common law, the action of Replevin itself for the repossession of goods wrongfully taken would be one of detinue; however, no means of instant recovery is available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
